In a Committed Relationship
Love It. Respect It. Lock It.
For some modern parents, cannabis is not a phase. Not a rebellion. Not a secret. It is a ritual.
And like any relationship worth keeping, it requires intention.
The cultural narrative around parents and cannabis is still stuck in extremes. Either it is taboo, or it is glamorized. Rarely is it framed as what it often is for adults. A controlled, intentional way to decompress at the end of a long day.
The difference between chaos and calm is not the plant. It is the boundaries.
And boundaries require structure. In a home with children, structure is not optional. It is the standard.
If cannabis is part of your life, then secure storage must be part of your routine. Not a drawer. Not the top shelf of a closet. Not “they can’t reach it.”
Locked. Intentional. Non negotiable.
Because normalizing adult use does not mean normalizing access.
