Do we keep it HUSH?

Do we keep it HUSH?

Summer is the season of people randomly staying over.

Your cousin needs a place for the weekend.
Friends stop by after the beach.
In laws suddenly extend their trip by “just one more night.”

And once people start sleeping in your house, you suddenly become very aware of everything sitting out in it. Every household has routines that don’t need to become group discussions.

That includes cannabis.

Some guests are completely comfortable around it.
Others are awkward.
Others somehow turn into detectives the second they spot anything remotely suspicious.

And honestly? Most adults do not feel like explaining their entire lifestyle over breakfast and coffee.

That’s where the “do we keep it hush?” conversation starts happening.

Not from shame.

From privacy.

There’s a difference between hiding something and simply not wanting it to become the topic of the weekend. Especially when:

  • kids are running around
  • guests are opening drawers
  • people are sleeping in shared spaces
  • and nobody has personal boundaries anymore because it’s summer

The funny thing is most adults aren’t trying to make cannabis the center of the night.

Usually it’s the opposite.

A few quiet minutes outside after everyone goes to sleep.
A small reset after hosting all day.
A way to decompress before doing it all again tomorrow. That’s it.

Summer hosting has a way of making privacy feel valuable again.

Not Secrecy.
Not embarrassment.
Just boundaries.

And honestly, maintaining small boundaries inside a loud, busy house is sometimes the only thing keeping everyone sane.

That's why we made HUSH, out of necessity and peace of mind.
