Do We Bring the B0ng or Not?
The Internal Debate Before Every Trip
Every cannabis consumer has had this conversation before a trip.
"Do we bring it… or not?"
And honestly, the answer changes depending on how chaotic the trip already feels.
Road trip?
Confidence is high.
Airport?
Absolutely not.
Suddenly everybody becomes a legal expert trying to figure out:
“How illegal is this technically?”
Family vacations make the debate even weirder. Because it’s one thing to bring your routine on a couples trip. It’s another thing when:
- your kids are in the hotel room
- your mother in law is staying in the Airbnb
- your husband's cousin is sleeping on the couch
- and there’s zero privacy anywhere
At that point, people start reevaluating real fast.
The thing is most adults are not trying to get “wild” on vacation. They just want a small version of their normal reset.
A quiet minute outside. Same eating routine (some of us lose appetite without it).
Something familiar at the end of the day.
A way to decompress after being overstimulated by airports, sunscreen, family dynamics, and sharing one bathroom with six people.
But honestly, sometimes it’s easier to leave it home.
No Stress.
No overthinking.
No wrapping glass in beach towels hoping nothing breaks in the trunk.
Sometimes gummies or wax pens win purely because they require less emotional labor.
I think what people are really trying to pack isn’t the bong itself. It’s the routine.
The small moment of calm that makes them feel like themselves even while being completely out of their normal environment.
And depending on the trip… sometimes that comes with you. Sometimes it stays home.
